Shopkeepers in India and US seem to have one thing in common. Most of them are unfortunate to have lost their courtesy and manners expected towards customers. I read an interesting piece today that reminded me of my experiences.

What has happened to the salesperson and retailers in the world today.

Leave out retailers, think this is something spreading to the common man, read out what I experienced at a gas station few days back – A pleasant cheerful morning, and luckily a small queue at the station, a very happy looking newly married couple, in a car behind mine, and then entered an angry, not very young man, banging in his car, straight in between mine and the car behind me, and not ready to even listen to all the people in the queue behind him, quarrel ensued, went to a fight, and inspite of breaking the queue, he still had the guts, and i feel the main reason – ego, to fight back saying the other people are wrong, and even abusing the ladies around – what happened to our non-violent India, which respected women, and helped each other out – think we need some more of Gandhigiri…maybe a holiday on GandhiJi’s birthday helps cool of such people
